Cookie Policy — Learning Time
This Cookie Policy explains how Learning Time Digital Limited (Hong Kong Business Registration No. 79301879-000-12-25-4) uses cookies and similar technologies on our marketing website at
The Learning Time mobile app does not use cookies. This Policy is about the website only.
This Cookie Policy forms part of — and should be read together with — our Privacy Policy.
For Indonesian-resident users: the binding version of this Cookie Policy is published in Bahasa Indonesia at https://www.learningtime-id.com/pages/kebijakan-cookie, in accordance with Article 31 of Law No. 24 of 2009. The English version below is provided for reference.
1. What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies let the website recognise your device, remember preferences, and measure how the site is used. "Similar technologies" include local-storage entries and pixel tags, which we treat the same way.
Cookies are generally grouped by purpose:
- Strictly necessary — required for the site to function (e.g., to remember that you accepted the cookie banner).
- Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.
- Marketing / advertising — used to show targeted ads. We do not use these.
2. What Cookies We Use
| Name | Set by | Type | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| lt.cookie-consent | Learning Time | Strictly necessary | Remembers your cookie-banner choice so we don't ask again on every page. This is a browser local-storage entry, not a cookie, so declining leaves no cookie behind at all. | Until you clear your browser storage |
| _clck, _clsk, CLID | Microsoft Clarity | Analytics | Measures page views and sessions, and records anonymised interaction patterns so we can see where the site confuses people. Pseudonymous only — no name, email, or child data is ever sent. | Up to 12 months |
| _ga, _ga_<measurement-id> | Google Analytics 4 | Analytics | Distinguishes visitors and sessions so we can see which pages people arrive on and how they find us. Pseudonymous only — no name, email, or child data is ever sent. | Up to 24 months |
We do not use cookies or similar technologies for: targeted advertising; profiling; tracking across third-party websites; or selling or sharing personal information.
3. Your Choices
3.1 Cookie Banner
On your first visit we show a cookie banner. You may:
- Accept — enable the analytics providers listed in Section 2.
- Decline — no analytics script is loaded and no analytics cookie is set.
Analytics are all-or-nothing rather than per-provider, so accepting enables every provider named in Section 2 and declining enables none of them.
To change your answer, clear this site's storage in your browser and the banner will appear again on your next visit. We also ask again whenever we add an analytics provider, so an earlier answer is never carried over to a provider you were not shown.
3.2 Browser Controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. If you block strictly-necessary cookies, some parts of the site may not work.
3.3 Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We honour the GPC signal where legally required (including for California residents). If your browser sends GPC, we treat it as an opt-out from any sharing or sale of personal information. Note that we do not sell or share personal information in the first place.
3.4 Do Not Track
Because there is no common industry standard for responding to "Do Not Track" browser signals beyond GPC, we do not act on them separately.
4. Retention and International Transfers
Data collected by Microsoft Clarity and by Google Analytics 4 is processed in the United States. The transfer of data from your browser to either provider is protected by the mechanisms described in Section 5 of the Privacy Policy (Standard Contractual Clauses).
5. Updates to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add, remove, or change cookies. Material changes are announced on the website and take effect on the "Effective date" above. If a change adds new cookies requiring consent, we will request fresh consent via the cookie banner before those cookies are set.
